I have been making art ever since I could hold a pencil.
Erik Parra is a contemporary American artist currently based in San Francisco, CA. His paintings, drawings and collage draw on a collective, cultural memory and the history of painting and film. Interior spaces become cultural self-portraits.
I want to invest in an original art collection to support artists and arts organizations
I want to hire an art educator to inspire students of all ages
An art practice has narratives that create meaning in our lives
Painting
That’s the painting within the painting. It’s moments that I leave in there, when you get to see all the way through to the underpainting.
